Our SJS BlockSmiths Minecraft Club kicks off the E-Sports season on Tuesday, Nov. 22 from 3:30-5:00, for those Grade 3-5 students who have returned their permission forms.

Reminder that tomorrow (Oct. 22) is our Obzhynky Celebration from 12:00-1:00 in the Gym. Families are welcome to join us for our assembly and class performances.

There will be borscht, buns and an apple tart served to students for lunch at 1:05. If your child would like to have borscht, please send a bowl or plastic container and spoon to school with your child.

Mountain View School Division is offering a free Preschool Activity Time Program. Children born in 2020 are welcome to register. Click on the above link for the online registration form. Registration is required to receive your code to access a private video at your convenience. Supplies will be provided for you to pick up at your local elementary school! Thank you to those who have already contributed their fruit or vegetables for our Harvest Celebration. If you are unable to contribute the item your child volunteered to bring, and would like to select an alternate, please reach out to your child's classroom teacher.

Our photographer will return on Friday, October 18 to photograph any Kindergarten students who did not get their picture taken in September, as well as to complete any necessary re-takes.
